Visual Artist
Y WORK EMERGES from
a lifelong passion for form, a need to describe energy, and a love of
color and shapes. As an artist deeply influenced by 20th century artists
such as Rothko, I equate color with spirituality. As a designer influenced
by history's great architects, I am fascinated with objects and space.
Often my work appears in units, with each module alone in space, linked
to the next by color and shape, creating a whole. I play colors, warm
and cool, against one another, watching them slip into subtle gradations
and unlikely contrasts. I then place these objects in space, in a pattern
that reveals a softened geometry.
